Archival history |
This collection was deposited by Admiral Sir Frederick Dalrymple-Hamilton, K.C.B., Bargany, Girvan, Ayrshire, 27 September 1961, in the National Archives of Scotland on indefinite loan. The plans have been given numbers in the Register House Plans (RHP) collection, and should be ordered by these. Five letter books, a sixth volume consisting of transcripts and genealogical notes on the Bargany family, and the diploma of peerage, 16 November 1641, (of which a photostat exists in the collection) were returned to Bargany, 22 March 1962. A microfilm copy of the five letterbooks has been kept in the NRS (ref: RH4/57). |
