Shotts Curling Club appears to have been founded in some form by 1790, although there is little information about the club before 1884. At the AGM in 1905, the Secretary reported that the existing club books were just about complete, and being cheap were in a poor state of repair. The Secretary was authorised to acquire a proper volume and engross all the old minutes and results therein. The Club was dissolved by decision taken at a meeting on 24 July 1991, when it was also agreed that the minute book and trophies were to be donated to a suitable 'museum'. |
