Incorporated by the West of Fife Mineral Railway Act of 14 July 1856 (19 & 20 Vic.c.98).
The West of Fife Mineral Railway was amalgamated with the Charleston Railway and Harbour Company to form the West of Fife Railway and Harbour Company by the West of Fife Railway and Harbour Act of 1 August 1861 (24 & 25 Vic. c.226).
The West of Fife Railway and Harbour Company (together with the Edinburgh Perth and Dundee Railway) was amalgamated with the North British Railway under the North British, Edinburgh Perth and Dundee and West of Fife Railways Amalgamation Act of 29 July 1862 (25 & 26 Vic.c.189).
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
