Incorporated under Act of 17 May 1861 (24 Vic. c.16).
The Keith and Dufftown and the Great North of Scotland Railways subscribed to the undertaking.
Under an Act of 30 July 1866 (29 & 30 Vic. c.288) the undertaking was vested in the Great North of Scotland Railway as from 1 August 1866, this Act consolidating a whole system of railways into the Great North of Scotland Railway.
The Great North of Scotland Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
