Incorporated under Act of 16 July 1846.
The company was vested in the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway under Act of 28 June 1858.
The Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway was amalgamated with the North British Railway under Act of 5 July 1865 as from 1 August 1865.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
