Incorporated by the Selkirk & Galashiels Railway Act of 31 July 1854 (17 & 18 Vic. c.199).
The company was amalgamated with the North British Railway under the North British and Selkirk Railways Amalgamation Act of 21 July 1859 (22 & 23 Vic. c.14).
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
