Incorporated under Act of 10 July 1854.
The company was amalgamated with the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway under Act of 8 June 1863.
The Inverness and Perth Junction Railway was amalgamated with the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway under the title of the Highland Railway by virtue of Act of 29 June 1865.
The Highland Railway became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Western, Midland and West Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
