Incorporated under Act of 6 August 1866.
The company was leased to the North British Railway for 999 years from 1 January 1888 under Act of 7 August 1888 and was amalgamated with the North British Railway as from 1 August 1900 under the North British Railway (General Powers) Act of 6 August 1900.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
