Incorporated under Act of 8 & 9 Vic.c.164 (1845) under the auspices of the North British Railway and was purchased by that company in the same year.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
