Incorporated under Act of 27 June 1817.
The company was vested in the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway under Act 12 & 13 Vic. c.39 (1849).
The Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway was amalgamated with the North British Railway as from 1 August 1865 under Act of 5 July 1865.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
