Incorporated under Act of 4 July 1838.
The company was re-incorporated under its Consolidation Act of 17 June 1852 and was amalgamated with the North British Railway under Act of 5 July 1865 as from 1 August 1865.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
