Incorporated under Act of 23 July 1858.
Under Act of 6 August 1866 the North British Railway was authorised to lease or amalgamate the Devon Valley Railway and the amalgamation became effective as from 1 January 1875.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
