Incorporated under Act 9 & 10 Vic. c.81 (June 1846).
The company was amalgamated with the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway under Act of 7 July 1862.
The Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway was amalgamated with the North British Railway under Act of 5 July 1865.
The North British Railway became part of the London and North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1923 under the North Eastern, Eastern and East Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30 December 1922. |
