The Scottish Society of Rehabilitation was formed in 1986. Its membership, from all across Scotland, represents the many professions in health and social services, voluntary agencies and education who are concerned with the care of disabled people. It is a multidisciplinary organisation which seeks to: 1. increase awareness of disabilities; 2. promote improvements in rehabilitation practice; 3. encourage and disseminate relevant research and 4. provide an interdisciplinary forum for rehabilitation issues. |
