Robert Mylne (?1643-1747) generally described as a 'writer' of Edinburgh, is well known as an antiquary who devoted much time and labour to copying manuscripts of antiquarian and historical interest. He transcribed many manuscripts now preserved amongst the Advocates' Manuscripts (National Library of Scotland). For example, see Adv MS 13.2.2, indexes to rescinded Acts of Parliament. |
