Grant in perpetuity by Robert Fare Boware, burgess of Edinburgh, to John Fowlare, burgess likewise, of his property, comprising a hall a chamber and two cellars beneath, in Edinburgh, on north side of the king's highway; within the grantor's tenement, bounded north by land of James Greg, south other land of the grantor, land of Donald Kile on the east and land of Giles Brusom on the west.
Sealed by grantor and Alexander Boucle (seals now missing). Witnessed at Edinburgh by Robert Auldehoch, James Greg, John Scathmur, chaplain, Thomas Unthamli, notary public, George Knox, Davide Quite, servants of the Burgh, and John Dunde. Latin. |
