Description |
Bound in maroon tooled leather and boxed. Tack by James, Earl of Findlater and Seafield, to Alexander Milne of Chapelton and George Taylor, merchant in Keith, of part of Mains of Milltown of Keith on which the grantees have erected a distillery, for the term of 38 years and one lifetime from Martinmas 1785 for yearly rent of £10 6s 3d sterling. Endorsed with report by George Brown, land surveyor at Linkswood, concerning practicability of enclosures required by the tack; dispensation by Earl's commissioners from the enclosure clause, and undertaking by George Taylor, surviving lessee, to complete a modified enclosure, 1807. |
